and the Magnum Hunt Club at Lac De Gras
View Photo Gallery | View Recipes
150 miles south of the Arctic Circle lay an area that has claimed more Boone and Crocket Caribou than any other camp. Courageous Lake Caribou Camps boast some of finest Caribou hunting in North America and possibly even the world. September brings the famed Caribou migration directly through this area, so the action will be simply amazing. Join me as I venture to the Northwest Territories and am hosted by the fine folks at Courageous Lake Caribou Camps for 5 spectacular days at Lac De Gras. I will be after two Caribou, a Wolf, a Wolverine and some 20lb. Trophy Lake Trout all on the fly! This is definitely too much action for one show, so stay tuned for my series from Lac De Gras. I will also be featuring the Magnum Hunt Club, which is a new and exciting club for the avid big game hunter. Not only will I be hunting and fishing for my trophies in this magnificent part of the world, but I will be preparing some Caribou Osso-Bucco or as I call it “Caribucco” on Cooking on the Wildside. You don’t want to miss this one!
